An 8-mile scenic drive north from Lucca takes you to the picturesque, sunny Brancoli Valley. The road winds through woods, vineyards and olive trees. You will reach a little old town with a church on the piazza facing an extended view over the Lucca plain. La Chiua is a charming restored cottage in this small village, where you can take leisurely drives and walks in the surrounding wooded hills.
	This comfortable accomodation features rustic period furniture. The ground floor of La Chiua has a living room with a fireplace and color television, and a dining room/kitchen corner with an oven.
Upstairs is a bedroom with one double bed and two single beds, plus a bathroom with a bathtub. Outside is a small outdoor area with table, deck chairs and a barbeque.You can park 50 meters from La Chiua. A grocery market and public telephone are in the village.
